Dr. Steven Moser - Veterinarian

${name}

Dr. Steven Moser grew up in Maryland with a passion for pets, always knowing he wanted to be a veterinarian.

As a child, he had all types of creatures as companions. It was this love for animals that led Dr. Moser to pursue a career in veterinary medicine, first as a licensed veterinary technician. During his 12 year career as a technician, he worked in general private practice, specialty referral practice, and ultimately at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Virginia Tech.

At Virginia Tech, Dr. Moser worked in the surgery and anesthesia departments helping train the 4th year veterinary students and dealing with difficult anesthetic cases. During his 6 years at Virginia Tech, Dr. Moser realized he wanted to go back to school to become a veterinarian. This led him to attend Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts where he achieved his childhood dream. Since then, he has worked in general private practice, emergency medicine, and in the anesthesia department at Colorado State University where he received extra training and experience in veterinary anesthesiology.

Dr. Moser's clinical interests include surgery, dentistry, and pain management. When off duty, Dr. Moser enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, camping, rock climbing, cycling, and spending time on the water sailing, surfing, paddleboarding, or fishing.
